Baron O'Neal, 42, of Hopkins, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Baron's faith was in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Baron was first and foremost a loving father to his daughter Kaylee. He adored fishing, hunting, cooking/baking, and participating in SC Donkey & Mule Association events with her, as well as cheering on in all of her activities.
Baron, a loving son and faithful friend, was always willing to help others. He was a member of Church of the Apostles. He graduated from Lower Richland High School where he was a member of the marching band and graduated from CIU. He was retired as a Richland County paramedic.
Survivors include his daughter Kaylee; his service dog, Hannah; parents, Jim and Janet Whittle; aunt, Alice Culley; uncle, Randy McCullough (Sandra); paternal grandparents, Calvin and Betty Whittle; aunt, Gloria Miller (Lindsay). He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Dorothy and John McCullough.
A celebration of his life is set for 12 o'clock, Saturday, June 16th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, with Rev. Barry Gray officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
