Barry L. Miller, 57, of Columbia, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Born April 29, 1961 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, he was the son of Connie June Hayner Miller, and the late Roy Edwin Miller.

Barry was the only boy in a house full of ladies. He was an avid pool player (some called him a shark) that got along with everyone. He was a mellow, sweet and tender soul that truly adored his family, and scratch off tickets.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving sisters, Marsha Malkiewicz, Peggy Mallet, Valerie Buffington (William) and Jennifer Smith (Robbie); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his precious fur baby, Sunshine.

A graveside service for Mr. Miller, will be held 10 o'clock, Monday, April 22nd, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens, 6703 Windwan Drive, Columbia, with The Rev. James A. Goudelock, officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
