Beiman "Bemo" O. Prince, Jr., 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Born in Orangeburg, SC on May 12, 1949, he was the son of the late Addie Irene Huffman Prince and Beiman Otis Prince. "Bemo" loved playing and listening to music. Bemo was an avid guitar player and songwriter; and enjoyed singing the songs he wrote. Before he was a Master Craftsman at the South Carolina State Museum for almost 15 years, "Bemo was a photographer by hobby where he was able to capture exceptional moments for many people during special events; he also drove limousines which gave him the opportunity to meet and make friends with a variety of people. He was a loving husband and father and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; a daughter, Angela Prince; a son, Trey Prince; a sister, Stanlee Morrison (Dale); great grandson, Monte Harper; and a brother in-law, Ted Fetner.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn M. Prince; his daughter, Lisa Harper (Joseph); two sisters, Wynette Fetner (Ted), and Edythe Prince; his brother, William Prince (Sandy); a brother in-law, Dale Morrison (Stanlee); five grandchildren, Joshua Harper, Jeremy Harper (Kayla), Taylor Harper, Brittany Massalou (Michael), and Kayla Dawn Miller Prince; and eleven great grandchildren.
A service will be held at Woodridge Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 1 o'clock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
