Bennie L. Taylor, 77, of Columbia, died Thursday, August 11, 2016. Born in Columbia on March 25, 1939, he was a son of the late Edward D. Taylor and Nellie Mimms Taylor.

A graveside service for Mr. Taylor will be held 3 o'clock, Thursday, August 18th, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Rd., Columbia. The family will greet friends following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is assisting the family.
