Betty Mack Johnson, 93, of Columbia, died Sunday, October 22, 2023. Born February 12, 1930, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Eugene L. Mack and Constance Vann Mack. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed a prosperous career and retired from South Carolina National Bank and the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. She was a member of Killian Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Survivors include her son, Chris Johnson of Columbia; daughter, Susan Bouknight (Terry) of Irmo, as well as a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred D. Johnson; son, Harold Robin Johnson, and brother, Kenneth W. Mack.

The funeral service for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 1 o'clock, Friday, October 27th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext, Columbia, SC. Burial will follow at Killian Baptist Church Cemetery, 135 Killian Cemetery Road, Columbia.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
