Betty Trapp Williams Morris

Betty Trapp Williams (Morris) (88) was born in Blythewood, SC on October 15, 1938 to Johnnie Marion and Emily Mae Hood Trapp. She got to see Jesus face to face on October 18, 2026. She was the oldest girl of seven children. Betty married Kenneth Max Williams on August 11, 1959. She had three children, Dorothy Ann Williams Ientile, Betty Lee Williams Wright and Baby Kenneth Williams. Betty retired as the packing department supervisor at Stone Mfg. in Columbia 2006. She was an active member of Grace Community Church.

Betty loved to garden, fish, and help everywhere she went. She loved her family and is survived by her children, Dorothy and Lee (Johnny), grandchildren, Joshua Wright (Krista) of Blythewood, Joseph Ientile (Allie) and Dylan Ientile, both of Gardner, Kansas, Katie Wright of Columbia, great grandchildren, Wynonna, Mia and Declan, Lilah Jo, brother, Gene Trapp (Nilda) and sister, Rosa Trakas (David) both of Blythewood, SC, a host of nieces, nephews and church family who were all very special to her.

Daughter, Sister, Mama, Aunt, Grandma, Great Grandma, Friend, Caregiver, Provider, Nurturer, Homemaker, Leader. She was all that and more.

The Family would like to thank Toya, Keisha, Christy, Lakisha and Chaplain Tim from Agape Care who helped make her transition at home easier.

We would like to thank our Grace Community Church Family, whether you came in 2004 or just started last month. Thank you for your love and prayers. She loved you and we do too.

Betty is predeceased by her parents, husband, Kenneth, brothers, Glenn Trapp, James Franklin Trapp, Robert Heyward Trapp, sister, Margie Lois Kirby, son Kenneth Jr. and granddaughter, Alexandria Ientile.

The funeral service for Ms. Morris will be held at 2 o'clock, Friday, October 23rd, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1 o'clock.
