Beverly Ann Rauch Nicholson, 66, of West Columbia, died Monday, July 13, 2015. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late James Albert Rauch, Sr. and Lois Dixon Rauch. Beverly was a supervisor with the Department of Mental Health for over 35 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and would do anything for someone in need. Beverly was the sweetest wife you could ever imagine.
Survivors include her husband, Dene Nicholson, Sr.; daughters, Sheri (Buddy) Rose of Lexington, Michelle (Allen) Reep of Virginia; son, Scott (Misty) Black of Gaston; step-son, Travis (Georgette) Nicholson of Lexington; daughter-in-law, Cindy Nicholson of Lexington; grandchildren, Taylor, Stephen, Zackary, Joshua, McKenzie, Corey, Ashley, Caroline, Anna, Dalton, Lyric, Logan and Lucia; grand grandchild, Rivers; brother, Pete (Erma) Rauch of Blythewood; sister, Jamie (Bobby) Ward of Georgetown; and mother-in-law, Sally Nicholson of Columbia; niece, Paula Rauch; and nephews, Pete (Ruth) Rauch III and Wayne (Becky) Estes. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by step-son, Dene Nicholson, Jr.; and father-in-law, Jene Nicholson.
The funeral service for Mrs. Nicholson will be held 10 o'clock, Friday, July 17th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road, Columbia, with The Rev. James Kight officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9 o'clock.
