Bonnie Magdaline Coffey Gentry Smith passed away April 18, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1927, in Forest City, NC to Sydney Louis Coffey and Aquila Coffey, both who preceded her. Bonnie worked in the textile industry all of her long life. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, in her free time.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Coffey Jones; and brother, Sydney Lewis Coffey, Jr.; daughter, Deborah Gentry Allen; son-in-law, Grady F. Allen; granddaughters, Monica Jean Allen and Deanna Allen Rowe; as well as three grandchildren, Lane, Landen and Lauren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Winnifred Owens.

The service for Mrs. Smith will be held at 2 o'clock, Tuesday, May 14th, in the Memorial Gardens of Spring Valley Presbyterian Church. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
