Brandon Adam Burr, 21, of Blythewood, died Saturday, November 11, 2017. Born in Columbia, South Carolina on December 30, 1995, he was the son of Pamela Ann Burgess Burr and Ronald "Bo" David Burr, Jr. Brandon graduated from Blythewood High School, and had a passion for music, dirt bikes, a love for his Harley, and was known for his humor and big heart. He started The Brandon Burr Band where he sang, played the guitar and often wrote his own music. He had a deep love for all his family and friends and never met a stranger. Brandon attended Pineview Baptist Church in Blythewood.
In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by, his paternal grandmother, Aggie Burr Fulmer; maternal grandmother, Deborah Reese; step-grandmother, Linda Burr; aunt, Cathy Alf (Mike); uncle, Kyle Burgess (Sandra); and his cousin and roommate, Wade Burr. Brandon is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, members of the Brandon Burr Band as well as many fans. Brandon is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Burr, Sr. and step-grandfather, Adrian Fulmer; maternal grandfather, Larry Burgess; and step-grandfather, Tug Reese.
The funeral service for Brandon will be held 1:30 o'clock, Wednesday, November 15th, at Pineview Baptist Church, 111 Pineview Church Road, Blythewood, with the Rev. Jacob Helsley officiating. Burial will follow in Killian Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Tuesday evening, November 14th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
