Brian F. McMahon, of Irmo, SC, died on Monday, December 30, 2024. Born on May 11, 1940, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Edward McMahon and Mary Alice Kane McMahon Snyder. Prior to his retirement, Mr. McMahon was the founder and operator of B.F. McMahon, Inc. He was a supporter of University of South Carolina athletics and NASCAR. His family cherishes the countless adventures shared with their late father, fueled by his passion for fast cars, boats, motorcycles and travel. Mr. McMahon was also an avid aviation enthusiast, having owned and flown many aircraft throughout his life.
Survivors include his wife, Linda R. McMahon, children, Colleen McMahon Otte (Patrick), Brian McMahon, and Brodie Patrick McMahon (Mary Louisa); grandchildren, Cade McMahon, Cooper McMahon, Mary Kate McMahon, and Sarah Otte Sabanis (Mike); great-grandchildren, Pano Sabanis, Patrick Sabanis, as well as his brother, Edward Marlin McMahon. He also leaves behind his many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and stepfamily. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael McMahon and stepbrothers, George Snyder and Tom Snyder.
A celebration of life for Mr. McMahon will be held privately.
