Obituary
Bryan Keith Blackmon, 54, of Columbia, died on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Born on August 9, 1970, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Baron Eugene Blackmon and Jacqueline Elizabeth Petty Blackmon. Bryan was a Columbia native and a 1988 graduate of A.C. Flora High School.
Survivors include his brothers, Kevin Blackmon (Laura) of Lexington and Tony Blackmon of Wickliffe, OH; aunts, Cynthia Gruden, Sandra Sheldon, and Susan Petty; as well as his loyal companion, Rusty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Bill Petty.
A private memorial service will be held at a future date to celebrate Mr. Blackmon's life.
Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
