Bryan Parker Davis, 58, of Roswell, GA, died on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Born July 16,1963, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Eugene Harlan Davis, Jr. and Linda Davis Holliday.
He was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and the University of South Carolina. He worked for various law firms through the years in Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, and two law firms in midtown Manhattan, NY, as a commercial real estate paralegal. He also owned a title search business which he most recently operated in Atlanta, covering all the surrounding counties. He taught classes online on real estate law and how to search titles. He was musically gifted, having played the clarinet, saxophone, and flute. He was also one of the best chefs around, able to master virtually any cuisine. He had a keen and classic sense of humor and loved spending time with family. He will surely be missed.
Bryan is survived by his children, Bryanna Rae Davis and Zachary Parker Davis (Sydney), and dear friend and companion, Julie Zhao. He is also survived by his three brothers, Bret H. Davis (Lorianne) of Myrtle Beach, Brandon A. Davis (Linda) of Greenwood, and Brad E. Davis (Alex) of Myrtle Beach, one sister, Gina D. Davis of Pawleys Island, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his step-mother, Kay Davis. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Michael Mitchum.
A celebration of Bryan's life will be held on Saturday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC, with a graveside service following at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at a visitation prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m.
