Wayne "Daddy, Pops, Papa" Price, 82, of Columbia, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends, on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Born in Camden, SC on December 18, 1933, he was a son of the late Colon Joyce and Leila May Berry Price. Mr. Price retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Columbia, after 46 years of service, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, the Turtles Fishing Club and the SC Bee Assoc. Mr. Price enjoyed square dancing, farming, bowling, horsehoes and was proud to have been Father of the Year in 1999.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra "Debbie" Mills (Robert); a son, C. Wayne Price (Jennie); adopted son, Robi Jones; grandchildren, Dewaine Vickers, Dusty Vickers, Sherri Rollison (Steven), and David Wayne Price (Angela); great-grandchildren, Robert Vickers, Sarah Vickers, Shelbie Yarborough, Tim Yarborough, Lee Rollison, and Stephanie Rollison; siblings, Nita Price Murrin (Ray), Ronnie Price (Becky), and Gayle Rose (Lowry); as well as his beloved puppy, Charlie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Ann Fetner Price; second wife, Margarete Jones Price; two brothers, and one sister.

The funeral for Mr. Price will be held 3 o'clock, Saturday, January 16th at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 736 Camp Ground Road, Columbia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock.
