Candace Nicole Lee, 42, of Blythewood, died on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, on August 15, 1980, she was a daughter of James Wesley "Pete" Lee and Gina Louise Anasti Lee. Candace was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and will be remembered for her silly, free-spirited personality. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and being near the water, especially Lake Wateree.

In addition to her parents, Candace is survived by her sisters, Tonia Lee Norris (Mike) and Christina Lee Richardson (Jeremy); nephews and niece, Cameron Davis (Camille), Taylor Norris and Paisley Richardson; grandmother, Louise Whittle; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and uncles, Jim Anasti and Bobby Lee.

The service for Candace will be held at 11 o'clock, Saturday, July 22nd, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia with the Rev. Dr. E. Benjamin Newman officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10 o'clock.
