Carla Clegg Cimino, 67, of Columbia, died Friday, June 5, 2015. Born in Columbia on October 11, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Herbert R. and Marguerite Sullivan Clegg. Carla was a special education teacher with Richland School District 2 for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Nick Cimino; her daughter, Meredith (Cory) Dunbaker; her son, Anthony (Wendy) Cimino, all of Columbia; granddaughter, Sophia Cimino; brother-in-law, Louis (Barbara) Cimino of Lexington; sister-in-law, Carol Cimino of Atlanta, GA; best friend, Susan Styles of Louisville, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carla was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Cimino; and brother, Larry Clegg.

The service for Mrs. Cimino will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, June 8th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd, Columbia, with The Rev. Justin Faucette officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 o'clock, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Ln, Columbia, SC 29210.
