Carmen Perez Schrall, 70, of Columbia, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018. The daughter of the late Rigoberto and Paulina Perez, she was married to the late CMSGT Richard Schrall, a veteran of the US Air Force. Carmen came to the United States from Cuba at the age of 14, where she later graduated from The Minneapolis School of Art and Design. She worked as a designer, model and homemaker, who was quirky, funny and independent. A prayer warrior for her family, she was a selfless giver, who enjoyed her grandkids.

Survivors include her son, Daniel R. Schrall, his wife, Anna and grandchildren, Charlie and Cole Schrall.

A service will be held 3 o'clock, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Kilbourne Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Smoak and Daniel Schrall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
