Carmen Adean Baldwin Scialabba, 91, of Columbia, died on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Born in Michigan on October 1, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Paul Steven and Reba Lee Griffith Baldwin. She spent most of her life in Redding, California before moving to Columbia, SC to be near her family. She and her late husband, Salvadore, enjoyed making cross country trips to see their family, especially their grandchildren. Following the death of her husband, some of her most precious time was spent with her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Shelley Bowers, Sue Fisher, Steve Scialabba and Shane Scialabba; grandchildren, Shayna Thompson (Jonathan), Shawn Scialabba (Brittany), Chasity Duxbury (Mark), Matthew Bowers and Brad Scialabba; great-grandchildren, Landon Scialabba, Julian Scialabba, and Liam Thompson; as well as her sister, Patricia McKenzie; and niece, Verné Kapusta. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Salvadore Scialabba, Jr.; and brothers, Jimmie Dawes and Charlet Baldwin.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
