Carnelia Jean Hayden Sandoval, 51, of Lexington, died Thursday, June 11, 2015. Born in Columbia on July 10, 1963, she is a daughter of the late VurDaniel Hayden and Helen Louise Jackson Carroll. Carnelia was a member of the Chapel of Redemption.

Survivors include her daughters, Evlyn Figueroa, Suzann (Armando) Martinez; brothers, Damon (Peggy) Hayden, Danny (Kim) Hayden, John Hayden, Robert P. O'Briant; sister, Melinda D. O'Briant; caregiver and nephew, Justin Hoover, all of Lexington; seven grandchildren; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Sandoval will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, June 20th, at the Chapel of Redemption, with The Rev. Dave Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock, this Sunday afternoon, June 14th, at Shives funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd, Columbia.
