Carol Jean Hall Jackson, 77, of Lugoff, formerly of West Columbia, died on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC on August 4, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Frank Wheeler Hall and Ella Mae Senn. Mrs. Jackson was a loving homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of Westside Holiness Church in Cayce where she was devoted to serving her Lord.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn D. Keaton (Yale); granddaughter, Angela D. Keaton; great-grandchildren, Austin Taggett and Kira Keaton; sister, Catherine Brazell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Jackson; sons, James R. Seawell, Glen F. Jackson and Thomas D. Jackson; grandson, Michael L. Keaton; as well as nine siblings.

The funeral service for Mrs. Jackson and her son, Glen, who preceded her in death by 6 days, will be held at 11 o'clock, Thursday, January 19th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
