Mrs. Carolyn Dianne Ross Rabon, 63, of Elgin, died Friday, February 6, 2015. Born August 29, 1951, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Melvin Daniel Rufus Ross and Elizabeth Idell Boyd Ross.
A member of Nazareth Pentecostal Holiness Church, Carolyn was the office manager at Ross Plumbing Company and later retired from Pardees' Heating and Air.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Rabon; son, Cecil Rabon, Jr.; daughters, Pamela Sandifer (Andy), Dawn Richburg (Wayne), and Michelle Rabon; many grandchildren; brother, Danny Ross; as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Ross, and Joe Ross.
A funeral service for Mrs. Rabon will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, February 10th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd. Ext., Columbia, with The Rev. Julian Boles officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens, 6601 Windwan Dr., Columbia. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
