Carter Wray Hamilton passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Columbia, SC on October 10, 2000.

Carter is survived by his special friend, Kristine Danielle McIntosh, who is also the mother of his cherished and much-loved son, Alexander Reid Hamilton; sisters, Hailey Marie Hamilton, Sydney Lynn Durham, and Layla Abigal Durham; grandparents, James E. Dyches and Diana Lynne Dyches; great-grandmother, "Nana" Edith Marie Hamilton; father, Ian Corey Hamilton; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Crystal Marie Durham, great-grandmother, Rena King, and great-grandfather, Walter M. Hamilton.

The funeral service for Carter will be held 2 o'clock Sunday, October 10th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
