Cathy Davis Moak, 66, of Lugoff, died on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Born on July 21, 1959, in Columbia, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Kindley Floyd Davis and the late Ruby Bradley Davis. Mrs. Moak graduated from the University of South Carolina with an associate's degree in early childhood development. She worked with her husband in the family business, T & B Country Home Builders, until her retirement. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to many in the community.

Cathy loved family trips to the lake, the beach and the mountains. She spent her free time sewing, coaching girls' softball and loving any animal she could get her hands on. Her greatest loves were her children, her husband and her animals.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 29 years, Mr. Furman "Butch" Moak; daughters, Andrea Gibbons, Morgan (Chad) Strong and Joy Moak; sons, Daniel Gibbons, IV, John "Butch" (Janet) Moak and Brian (Amy) Moak; grandchildren; Cameron and Bradley Edwards, Jack and Keegan Blagg, Joel Moak, Lindsey Dorton, Jenna, Sadie and Cruz Gibbons, Austin (Anna) Moak, Lauren Moak, Johnathan Monts, Tyler (Natalya) Crowe, Heyward (Sydney) White, Andrew and Mark Moak; brothers, Mike (Beverly) Davis and Randall (Lannette) Davis; and sister Cynthia (Tom) Fussell.

The funeral service for Mrs. Moak will be held at 12 o'clock, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel. The family will receive friends before the service, beginning at 11 o'clock at the funeral home.
