Charles Samuel Glenn, 77, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Born on November 24, 1944, in Columbia, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Charles Herman and Ann Watson Glenn.
Sam was a 1963 graduate from Eau Claire High School. He studied architecture at Clemson University and received his Bachelor of Art from University of South Carolina. Sam was a true artist with an incredible imagination. He enjoyed cooking and music. Sam had a love for children, animals, and spending time with his family. He was laid-back soul who always kept a smile on his face.
He is survived by sister, Nanci G. McDonald; niece, Shannon M. Lomas (John); great-nieces, Myriah L. Ehpel (Dexter), Mykayla L. Rich (Sterling), and Jennings Lomas; nephew, Justin Lomas; great-great nieces, Aricelly and Terra Layne Ehpel; long-time companion, Laura Lesesne; as well as many loving cousins, lifelong friends, and dear neighbors that were so special to him.
The graveside service for Mr. Glenn will be held at 11 o'clock on Monday, July 25th, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
