Charles Edward Harbaugh, 66, of Columbia, died Friday, September 4, 2020. Born n Bethesda, Maryland, on June 5, 1954, he was a son of the late Gerald Bryan Harbaugh and Margel Mae Leathers Harbaugh. Charles enjoyed bicycle riding and walking. He was a devoted news watcher and avid sports fan. A woodworker at heart, Charles loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Antoine Harbaugh; children, Margel Harbaugh, Charlotte Harbaugh, Jeannette Harbaugh, and Michael Lopez; grandchildren, Evelyn, Link, Phoenix, and Griffin; siblings, Brenda Soper, Bryan Harbaugh, and Jackie Fugate; mother-in-law, Loretta Knight; brother-in-law, Richard R. Edwards; as well as a niece, Christi Gardiner; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Maude Alice Gore, William R. Leathers, Joseph Harbaugh; and step-father, Harold Jones.

The funeral service for Mr. Harbaugh will be held at 12 o'clock, Wednesday, September 16th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. Burial will follow the service in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
