Obituary
Charles Johnson, 85, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, with his beloved wife by his side.
Born in Cedartown, Georgia in 1938, Charles lived a life full of kindness, hard work, and love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Johnson of the home; brother, Larry Johnson (Marylynn); sons, Randy Johnson, David Johnson, and Steve Johnson (Anita), Brian Powell(Jeannie), and daughters, Stacie Bradley, Tammie Angooraj, along with 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Eunice Johnson and a sister, Glenda Johnson Cook.
A service to honor Charles's life will be held on a later date with immediate family.
Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
