Mr. Charles Mark Rabon, 63, of Murrells Inlet, formerly of Lugoff, died on Friday, December 29, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, on June 15, 1960, he was a son of Charles Woodson and Betty Louis Shannon Rabon.

After graduating from Spring Valley High School, he pursued a career in construction and was self-employed. Mark loved his Lord and football. He always enjoyed watching his South Carolina Gamecocks play football.

Mark was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Christopher Todd Rabon and Rodney Wayne Rabon. Survivors include his mother, Betty Rabon; his wife, Christine Wargula Rabon; brother, Alvin Rudolph Rabon of Trenton, SC; children, Jennifer Meeh (Paul), Krystal Kingkade (John) and Calvin Todd Rabon; stepchildren; John Claire Kennedy, III and Ashley Marie Kennedy; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Linda Marie Wargula.

The funeral service for Mr. Rabon will be held at 3 o'clock, Tuesday, January 2nd, at Sonrise Baptist Church, 4930 Alpine Road, Columbia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o'clock, before the service at the church.
