Chieko "Judy" Wolfe passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Stitt Myers Wolfe; and is survived by her children, Julie Wolfe Fulmer and David Michael Wolfe.

Judy spent her early years in her home country of Japan. There she met and married Stitt in 1951 and later moved to the United States. They then began their journey of military life with their two children, Julie and David.

She was a dedicated homemaker for most of her life and had a love of gardening and music. She especially enjoyed all varieties of flowering plants and singer "Neil Diamond" was her favorite of favorites.

The family would like to thank all those individuals that took such good care of her in her later years. Thank you to caregivers: Gladys Cullum, Lameka Stevenson, Lavenna Stevenson, Ann Marie Sutherland, Joesherbert Thompson, Prisma Health Senior Primary Care and the Prisma Hospice care team.

There will be a graveside service to celebrate the lives of both Judy and her husband, Stitt on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive guests following the ceremony in Julie's home. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
