Christopher "Chris" Todd Hixon, 48, of Winnsboro, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at his home with his loving wife and family by his side. Chris was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on September 27th, 1976, he was the son of Clyde Thomas (Tommy) and the late Patricia Gale Hixon.

Chris had a love for life, people and animals. He never meet a stranger and would give you his last dollar he had in his pocket if you needed it! When Chris wasn't in an elevator working, you could find him in a deer stand or fishing. He loved his and Pam's annual fishing trip to the smoking mountain. Chris and Pam recently purchased their dream home on land where Chris could watch all the wild animals and walk to his deer stand. This was a little bit of heaven on earth for him! His heart of gold, sense of humor, big old teddy bear personality will be missed!

Chris leaves behind his loving wife, Pamela Ann Hixon; father, Clyde Thomas (Tommy) Hixon; brothers, Steven Troy Hixon (Kelley), Brian Thomas Hixon (Angela), Trevor Allen Hixon (Michelle), Tod Delmont Seaton (Tiffany); nieces , Amber Polk (Will) and Kori Burgess; grandmother, Margaret Hixon; step nieces and nephews; best friend and side kick, Buzz (Ginny); special daughter, Whitney Fleming; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and friends.

Greeting him in heaven are his mother, Patricia Gale Hixon; Brandon Burr; mother-in-law, Deborah Ann Reese; brother, Jeremiah (Jeremy) Sharpe; brother-in-law, James Burgess; and his grandparents.

The Memorial Service for Mr. Hixon will be held at 3 o'clock on Monday, September 30th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock.
