Christopher Allan Matthew Chibbaro, 56, of Blythewood, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Born in Greenville, SC, on March 14, 1964, he was a son of Mary Ann Ladd Hollis and the late Anthony M. Chibbaro. Chris was a 1982 graduate of Richard Winn Academy and attended both Clemson University and Midlands Technical College studying electronic engineering. For over 34 years, Chris was employed at Hollis Plumbing. His step-father, Lewis Hollis often said "Chris works slower than me, but he does great work and always gets it right the first time". In his free time, he enjoyed Fishing, Hunting and tinkering with computers, electronics, and engines. Chris enjoyed collecting stamps and baseball cards.

In addition to his mother, Mary Ann Ladd Hollis, survivors include his sister, Cherie Chibbaro Wilson (Gerald); brothers, Danny Hollis (Lisa) and Bryan Hollis (Shan); step-brother, Mike Hollis (Sonja); and step-sister, Susie Davis. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Lewis B. Hollis, Sr.; and step-brother, Lewis B. "Butch" Hollis, Jr.

The funeral service for Mr. Chibbaro will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, October 10th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The Rev. Scott Smoak will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, 408 Blythewood Road, Blythewood.
