Cindy M Sweeten, 60, of Blythewood, SC, died Saturday, October 8, 2016, with her family surrounding her bedside. Born November 9, 1955 in Coronado, CA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Sadler Sweeten and the late Clara Mae Lewis Dougan. For the past 4 years, Cindy worked for the SC Dept. of Corrections, after a rewarding career with Piggly Wiggly Corporate. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and aunt, dedicated employee, wonderful cook, and finally, one who never gave up the fight. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her sons, Raymond Mayo of Harbor City, CA, and Mayo Letuligasenoa (Joshua James Letuligasenoa) of Anaheim, CA; brother, Edwin Sweeten (Vicki Sweeten) of Blythewood, SC; sister, Leslie Sweeten Resnick (Ron Resnick) of Simi Valley, CA; nephews, Edwin, Wesley and Wayne Sweeten; niece, Christina Sweeten; nephew, Mitchell Resnick.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held in Simi Valley, California, November 26, 2016.
