Clara Maria Tribbey, age 76, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on November 24th, 2023 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She is survived by her husband Patrick, children Jesse (Amber), Mark (Terry), and Crissy (Mark); grandchildren, Joshua, Kelsey, Alexander, Meredith, Madison, Emerson, Genevieve, and Kristin; and great-grandchildren, Steven, Sora, Ashlyn, AJ and Oliver.

Clara was an amazing and kind wife, mother, grandmother, instructional assistant, church member, and friend. She was a great testament for God's love for all and treated everyone she met like family. Clara's love was unconditional and she always looked for ways to make life better for others. From her kindergartners, to her own children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, to her 'extra' children, church members, and total strangers - Clara was the same God loving woman who brought joy to others.

Clara will be greatly missed by so many people. She touched so many lives and will always be remembered in our hearts.

The funeral service for Clara will be held Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 at 1 o'clock at North Point Community Church, 132 Beckett Ln., Columbia, SC. The family will hold a reception to receive guests following the service. A private burial will take place at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
