Clark Wendell Hornsby

Clark Wendell Hornsby, 83, of Camden, died on July 11, 2026. Born on April 7, 1943, in Blaney, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Otto Hornsby and Katherine Wages Hornsby.

Clark was a man who loved the Lord, he enjoyed the simpler pleasures in life. He enjoyed living on the lake, spending his time sailing. Clark was a hard worker. He had an entrepreneurial drive that led him to owning many successful businesses, including C&S Entreprises electrical business.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Hornsby; sons, Spencer Hornsby (Paige) of Ridgeway, SC and Ashley Bass of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Katherine Hornsby, Spencer Wayne Hornsby, Bevin Bass, and Brynn Bass; and brother, Steve Hornsby. He was predeceased by his parents listed above and son, Clark Wendell Hornsby, Jr.

In honor of Clark’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
