Claudia Louise Frick Smith, 67, of Lexington, died Monday, April 24, 2017. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James Claude Frick, Jr. and Helen Louise Hinson Frick, and married to William B. Smith. Claudia graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1967 and retired from DHEC. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, to whom family was important.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Gray Corley (Shannon), Sean Corley, Sr., and Tiffany Kelly (Allen); grandchildren, Sean, Jr. (Danielle), Kelsey, Seth, Christopher, Isaac, Benjamin, Macree, Caleb, Conner, Sydney, Dylan, and Bailey; sister, Susie Clark (Richard); and brother, Jimmy Frick (Sharon). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 o'clock, Saturday, April 29th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, with The Rev. Chris Russo officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 o'clock.
