Cleveland Govan Moore, 92, of Ridgeway, died Thursday, October 28, 2021. Born October 20, 1929, in Wedowee, Alabama, he was a son of the late Berford C. Moore and Pearl Rogers Moore.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Moore was the owner and operator of North Columbia Wheel Alignment. He was musically talented and enjoyed playing the guitar. Mr. Moore also loved to garden and tinker around his property on his tractor.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Patricia Watkins Moore; children, Charles Steven Moore (Debbie) of Blythewood, Roger Kenneth Moore (Nancy) of Morganton, NC, and Mary Moore Christensen of Ridgeway; grandchildren, Brandon Andrew Christensen, Travis Steven Moore (Tiffany), and Derek Kenneth Moore (Holly), as well as his great grandchildren, Bella Moore, Paislee Moore, and Parker Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Patrick Moore; brother, Hubert Moore; sister, Eleanor Moore, and son-in-law, Mark Andrew Christensen.
The memorial service for Mr. Moore will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday, November 14th at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1729 Blythewood Rd, Blythewood, SC 29016.
