Cliff Fluitt, 70, of Lexington, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was a son of the late Robert Keith and Betsy Fluitt. Cliff was known as a hardworking man with a great sense of humor, who served his country in the US Army as a Nike missile repairman. He was married to the late Brookie Page Fluitt.

Surviving are his children, Carey Fluitt (Marie), Amber Hendrix (Chris); step-daughter, Kimberly Johnson; grandchildren, Meredith Hendrix, Natalie Hendrix, Blake Hendrix, Brent Nelson, Cory Nelson and Cameron March. In addition to his parents and wife, Cliff is preceded in death by a brother and sister.

A graveside service will be held 12 o'clock, Monday, April 17th, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with The Rev. Barry Howell officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
