Coleman James Werts, 16, of Irmo, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born on August 5, 2005, in Lexington, South Carolina. He was the son of Shannon Bozard Werts and James Hart Werts II.

Coleman was a student at Spring Hill High School. He enjoyed skateboarding, video games, and keeping up with the stock market. Coleman had a passion for sports and was the Clemson Tigers' greatest fan. He was very smart, funny, and lit up every room he walked into. His friends and family will remember him mostly for his big smile and heart. Coleman was a free spirit, he lived life to the fullest and is loved by many.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Isabella "Bella" Hart Werts; stepsisters, Reece Mack and Riley Mack; maternal-grandmother, Sandy Wimberly; paternal-grandparents, Cheryl and James "Jimmy" Hart Werts; aunt, Krystal Werts Riley (Dan); cousins, Patrick Riley, Sean Riley, and Katie Riley; as well as many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will have two services for Coleman. A memorial service for the maternal family will be held at 2 o'clock on Friday, June 17th, at New Life Community Church, 10809 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 12 o'clock.

A funeral service for the paternal family will be held at 5 o'clock on Sunday, June 19th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 3 o'clock.
