Mr. Colton James Harman

Colton James Harman, 24, of Columbia, completed his earthly race while participating in the Greenville Half Marathon on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on November 19, 2001, he was the beloved son of Gary Duane Harman and Nikki Lee Lukas Harman.

Colton graduated from Blythewood High School as a member of the Class of 2020 and went on to graduate from the University of South Carolina, where he earned a degree in Business with a minor in Sport Administration.

Throughout his school years, Colton was deeply involved in athletics, participating in baseball, football, and intramural sports. He was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and actively participated in fraternity philanthropy events. His love for sports extended far beyond the field, he was a devoted Gamecock who rarely missed a University of South Carolina football game.

Colton had an adventurous spirit and a joyful presence. He loved being outdoors, cooking, spending time on the water, traveling, geography, tracking airplanes, and looking up at the stars. He was known for his quick wit, easygoing humor, and the big smile that so often lit up his face. He had a way of making others feel comfortable and welcome, and his laughter was contagious. Above all, he cherished time with his family and friends.

After graduation, Colton worked as a Field Service Representative with ACO Med Supply in the Enovis/CMF division in Greenville, South Carolina. He approached his career with the same dedication, energy, and integrity that defined every part of his life.

Colton was a member of Village Church, where he was active in the youth ministry and lived out his faith in a meaningful way.

In addition to his parents, Colton is survived by his sister, Taylor Harman; his girlfriend, Caroline Bauldree; his best friend, Brady Beasley; his maternal grandparents, Dorothy Lukas and James Fynes; his aunts and uncles, Ben and Theresa Harman, Terri and Tim Daniels, Todd Harman, Kevin and Jill Lukas, and Scott and Kim Lukas; and his cousins, Katie Lukas, Maggie Lukas, Annemarie Lukas, Hanna Vasquez, Jessica Harman, and Robert Harman.
