Lugoff: Mrs. Coralie Smith Windham, 91, of Lugoff, died on Friday, November 2, 2012. Born on April 29, 1921, in Ridgeway, SC, she was a daughter to the late Francis Clifford and Lilla Irene Robinson Smith.
Mrs. Windham was a longtime volunteer at Kershaw County Hospital and a charter member of the Belmont Baptist Church. She was also the head cashier for thirty years at Louries Men's Store.
Survivors include her sons, William F. (Emily C.) Windham, Larry F. (Iris R.) Windham all of Irmo; daughter, Deborah (Marion L.) Williams of Lugoff; grandson, Larry Todd (Kimberly) Windham of Columbia; granddaughter, Alison (Gene) Stancil of Ballentine, SC; four great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Clifton Windham; four sisters, and one brother.
A funeral for Mrs. Windham will be held at 2 o'clock, Wednesday, November 7th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr., Columbia. Burial will follow at Aimwell Cemetery in Ridgeway, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 o'clock.
