Daniel Eric Kestner, 49, of West Columbia, died Saturday, October 20, 2018. Born in Columbia, SC, on October 20, 1969, he was a son of Betty Warren Kestner Corbitt (Brice) and the late Daniel Whitson Kestner. Daniel was employed at Love Chevrolet as a mechanic. He had a love for cars, family, friends and enjoyed doing yardwork. Daniel was a handy man and could do anything he set his mind to. He was a member of Congaree Presbyterian Church and was loved by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, Betty, survivors include his wife, Cindy White Kestner; daughters, Christina Eilers (Devon) and Erica Kestner; (Rebecca); sisters, Cynthia Kestner (Laurie) and Rebecca Kestner LaCoe (Dave); granddaughter, Aubree Busbee; nephew, Blake Frye; stepfather, Brice Corbitt; stepmother, Patricia Kestner; stepdaughter, Kasey Herendeen; stepbrothers, Brandon Corbitt, Wes Dieffenwierth (Crystal), and Jason Sharpe (Linne); stepson, Joshua Busbee; stepsister, Shanna Farrar (Tim); as well as numerous extended family and friends.

The service for Mr. Kestner will be held 12 o'clock, Thursday, October 25th, at Congaree Presbyterian Church, 1221 Lafayette Ave, Cayce, with Pastor Jim Blackwelder officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
