Obituary

Daniel S. "Paco" Melbourne, Sr., 60, of Lexington, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Born November 18, 1954 in Burlington, VT. He served during Vietnam in the US Air Force and owned Body Mender Collision Center for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Karen Debaggis Melbourne; children, Shane Melbourne of Columbia, Nicole Beran of Lexington, Daniel Melbourne, Jr. of Lexington, Tyler Causey of Fort Hood, TX; grandchildren, Forest Padgett, Destiny Beran, Ariel Melbourne, Avery Melbourne, and Gracie Mae Causey; a sister, Betty Crosby; and brother, Jimmy Melbourne. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yoshiko Takahoshi.

A funeral service will be held 12 o'clock, September 28th, at Trinity Church, 1501 Hallbrook Dr, Columbia. Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Sunday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia.
