David Lawrence "Dave" Harris, 58, of Columbia, died Friday, May 31, 2013. Born January 22, 1955 in York County, SC, he was a son of Sally Hogue Harris and the late Lawrence Hall Harris.

Survivors include his son, Kevin Harris of Columbia; his daughter, Michelle Harris of Denver, CO; brothers, Tim (Sheila) Harris of York, Chris (Jan) Harris of Rock Hill, Phillip Harris, and Gary Harris, both of York; sisters, Patricia (Ryan) Durham of Newport, NC, Alison Ratterree, and Susan (Wayne) Jones, both of York, SC; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for Mr. Harris will be held 3 o'clock, Tuesday, June 4th at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. The family will receive friends following the service.
