David Maurice Stuart, 73, of Columbia, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020. Born in San Antonio, TX he was a son of the late Clarence Edgar and Elizabeth Freeland Stuart. David was a US Army Veteran and retired as a welder having worked on air frames and tractor trailers.

Survivors include his sisters, Judith Hohman of Palm Beach, FL and Kathleen Whitaker of Columbia, SC; a brother, Dr. Wayne Stuart of Bethlehem, PA; and sister-in-law, Judy Stuart, of Boerne, TX.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 11 o'clock, Tuesday, February 25th, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
