Obituary
David Dean Yates, 52, of Blythewood, died on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, on February 15, 1960, he was the only son of Larry Yates and Hazel McLain Yates.
Dean graduated from Irmo High School, and afterwards, received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1986. He worked in the home building and remodeling business.
In addition to his parents, Dean is survived by his beloved companion, Patty Smith; sister, Deborah Lynette Wilson; nephew, Devin Wilson; and niece, Shannon Wilson Caldwell.
A private time of remembrance to celebrate Dean's life will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012, at 6:00pm.
