Deborah Todd Balasco of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away the evening of Friday, August 12, 2016. Born and raised in Columbia, by Charles and Mary Todd, she was the beloved wife of Byron "Butch" Balasco and a loving, guiding mother to her two sons, Byron and Alex. Debbie was a lifelong athlete and devoted South Carolina football fan. Her sharp humor, beauty and fierce intelligence will be deeply missed.

In addition she is survived by her daughters in law, Juliette Balasco, Nichole Balasco, her grandchildren Barron and Alexana, her sister Robin (Tim) Robertson and brother Chuck (Jennifer) Todd. A private family service is planned. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
