Obituary

Delbert Lee Trimble, 85, of Lexington, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Born January 6, 1930, in Dayton, OH, he was a son of the late Delbert G. and Dorotha Mae McDonald Trimble. Delbert served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He retired from SC National Bank, now Wells Fargo. Delbert loved to bowl and play golf. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Blume Trimble.

A memorial service for Mr. Trimble will be held at 3 o'clock, Sunday, Jan 25th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia. The family will greet friends following the service.
