Delores F. "Connie" Wilson, 76, of Columbia, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 12, 2018. Born in Savannah, Georgia on March 28, 1941, she was a daughter of the late George F. Hodges Sr. and Rosalie White Hodges. Her journey here has come to an end and she has reunited with family and friends, where she will be socializing, dancing, gardening and reading for all eternity.

She is survived by her children, Wendell Wilson, Michael Wilson (Laura), Jason Wilson (Amy), Jennifer Wilson (Cole), MaryJo Marthers (Charles), Brenda Whittle (Bobby), Sherry Ludwig (Shane), Tammy Denison (Gary), and James Froehlich (Kerri); 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; her siblings, George F. "Topper" Hodges, Jr.( Lula Dixon), Patricia Drescher (Vincent, Sr.), Rosalie "Rosie" Litchfield (George), Tommy Osland (Stuart).

The funeral service for Mrs. Wilson will be held at 3 o'clock, Friday, March 16th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock.
