Dominic Jay Allen, 55, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Born on September 20, 1966, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Charles Leroy Allen and Scena Mae Pickett.

Nick was a graduate of Jacksonville Senior High School. He was a member of the APA and BCA pool leagues of Columbia. Nick will be dearly missed, especially for his loud, outgoing, and funny personality. He was truly the life of the party everywhere he went.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Denise Allen; daughter, Tiffany Michelle Calliste (Michael); grandsons, Matteo Calliste and Kobi Calliste; dear friends, Natalie and Maine; and many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

The memorial service for Mr. Allen will be held at 2 o'clock on Saturday, July 16th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
