Obituary
Don Edward Lee, 76, of Columbia, died Friday, November 29, 2013. Born September 13, 1937, near Houston, TX, he worked in the transportation industry, and eventually retired from the Metropolitan Trucking Company. Don was known for his sense of humor and was greatly loved by his family and friends, by whom he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include wife, Helen Helms Lee; a son; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The graveside service for Mr. Lee will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, with The Rev. L. Barry Gray and the Rev. Greg Nix officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Seniorcare Memoirs, 15 Richland Medical Park, Ste. 203, Columbia, SC, 29203.
