Donald "Duck" James Branham, 64, of Blythewood, died Monday, November 19, 2018. Born on May 30, 1954, in Richland County, SC, he was a son of the late Wylie David and Myrtle Rebecca Cook Branham. Duck loved to fish, watch NASCAR and cheer on his beloved South Carolina Gamecocks. Family was always most important in his life and he loved to spend time with his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews every chance he could.
Survivors include siblings, JoAnn Branham (Pete), Harold Branham (Rachel), Betty Branham, Mildred Hatchell (Scotty), Tony Branham, Cecil Branham (Margaret), Rebecca Branham, and Wilbur Branham (Laurie); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other loving extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Palmer and William Branham; and a sister Rosalyn Branham.
The funeral service for Mr. Branham will be held at 5 o'clock, Wednesday, November 21st, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 4 o'clock.
