Donald Gregg Gleaton, II, 40, of West Columbia, died Monday, October 31, 2022. Born June 12, 1982, in Columbia, he was a son of Pamela Jean Shumpert Gleaton of West Columbia and the late Donald Greg Gleaton, Sr. Gregg was a very talented carpenter and was employed in various capacities within the residential construction industry. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved his three daughters dearly.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Crystal Dawn Mahaffey Gleaton; daughters, Kelcie Alaine Gleaton, Cierra Nichole Gleaton, and Emma Grace Gleaton; sister, Heather Nichole Lindler (JR); niece and nephew, Madison Taylor Lindler and Jackson Riley Lindler; as well as his maternal grandmother, Gloria Jean Shumpert. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John C. Shumpert and paternal grandparents, Harold and Maxine Gleaton.

A memorial service to celebrate Gregg's life will be held at 4 o'clock, November 13, 2022, at Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church, 501 Church St, West Columbia, SC 29172 with Rev. Gene Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church fellowship hall beginning at 3 o'clock.
